Since 1887, Achenseeschifffahrt has been a leading tourism operator on Lake Achensee, not only running Austria’s most modern fleet but also taking on numerous other responsibilities in the region.

We maintain the lake’s shoreline, build and care for hiking trails and piers, clean public restrooms, manage free-access lawns and playgrounds by the lake, collect and dispose of items left behind by visitors, and provide free transportation for local children and youth on our liners, which are powered by costly yet environmentally friendly synthetic fuels.

With great passion, we nurture numerous partnerships with institutions in the Achensee region, including kindergartens, schools, and retirement homes, and we support various associations and community projects. We are a reliable partner to the people and businesses in the region, our employees are well-compensated, and we take great pleasure and dedication in caring for our guests.
